Amy S. Lasseter came to Athens in 1998 and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Development from the University of Georgia. After graduation, she worked with the Department of Family and Children Services in varying capacities serving at-risk youth along with the elderly and disabled. In 2006 she earned her master’s degree from the Community Counseling program at North Georgia University. During this time, and to fulfill her practicum and internship requirements, she worked in the Intensive Family Intervention Unit with Advantage Behavior Health Systems. Once she completed graduate school, she began working for private agencies conducting assessments, home evaluations, parenting skills classes, and therapy.

With over 11 years of experience in the professional field and 8 years of experience as a business owner, Amy is able to uniquely support business owners as she is able to integrate techniques to help them overcome mindset challenges so they can create their free & fulfilled life. She believes that emotions and actions are intertwined and affect one’s life in both positive and negative ways.

As a professional in the community she maintains memberships with the following organizations: American Counseling Association and the Licensed Professional Counselor Association of Georgia.

Amy holds a Certification as a Positive Discipline Parent Educator, Specialization in Telemental Health and is completing her Compassion Fatigue Certification.
